Georgia Department of Labor to help hire 45 workers at 2 Dalton Engineered Floors plants

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – The Georgia Department of Labor will help carpet manufacturer Engineered Floors recruit a total of 45 workers for two separate plants in Dalton.
        The recruitment happens next Thursday, June 11th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
        It’ll take place at the Dalton Career Center on Chattanooga Ave.
        The company hopes to hire 20 twister operators, 15 creelers and 10 truck lift operators, with a valid class C driver’s license.
        Previous work experience is not necessary.
        All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
        The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants.
        Salaries range from $11-$12 an hour.
