Rhea County Middle School Teacher Charged With Statutory Rape

Billy Hoffman suddenly resigned from his job as a 7th grade social studies teacher at Rhea Middle last month.

He has been under investigation for awhile.

Now the ex-teacher faces charges of aggravated statutory rape and statutory rape by an authority figure.
