Volunteer Call: Help with the Mud Run
The 5k event is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.
It’s coming up on August 15 at Greenway Farms in Hixson.
If you can’t run this year, organizers hope you can volunteer.
They are looking for both groups and individuals to pitch in.
The week before the race, they need help setting up the course, and organizing packets for the runners.
On Race day, they’ll need volunteers for the registration table, EMS stations, water stations and at the obstacles.
They would love to get hundreds of volunteers.
And they will pay you back with a Rally & Cookout the night before the race at Greenway Farms.
