Jury Convicts Alleged Gunman in Drug Buy Murder

Prosecutors say that Tanner and two others met three men to sell them a quarter pound of marijuana.

Abel Carmona got to into their car, but got nervous when they tried to leave the scene.

The prosecution says Tanner pulled a revolver and demanded the money.

He then pulled him out of the car and shot him in the chest.

Tanner said it was self defense, claiming the victim pulled a knife on him.

He could get life in prison when sentenced in August.
