Chattanooga Man Faces Drug Charges & Accused Of Trying To Force His Way Into Soddy Daisy Cars
"He was walking around the parking lot just trying to open people’s doors".
Christine Kiefert called 911 when she saw Pennington at the parking lot of Soddy Daisy Wal Mart.
"He tried to open my driver side door in the back, i looked down at my driver side mirror and he stooped down and looked back up at me".
Pennington told police he was waiting for friends at the parking lot. When they advised him to call them and leave he turned up at the Taco Bell across the road three hours later.
Nicole, Taco Bell Customer,"I had already locked my door and there was a lady that had pulled up in front of the Taco Bell beside me and she got out of her car and was doing something in the backseat and he went to act like he was going up to her car to get into the driver’s side of her car that was already open".
Police found a blue alprazolam pill marked with the letter "R" on Pennington when they came to Taco Bell to arrest him around 8pm.
He was later booked into Hamilton County jail.
31 year old Pennington has previous charges for drugs possession and criminal impersonation.
