Nightfall Preview: Amy LaVere

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Amy LaVere has plenty of stories and plenty of songs to share when she plays Nightfall this Friday.

This has been a busy year and a half in the folk singer’s career.

Her career got a boost when she joined Luther Dickinson’s collective of female artists called the Wandering.

Out of that, she got Dickinson to produce her concept album last year of her adventures as a teenage runaway.

Then early this year, she released a new album with her husband Will Sexton & toured Europe.

Amy LaVere takes the stage at 8PM Friday Night at Miller Plaza.

The opening act will be the local group Mountain Creek House Fire.

They take the stage at 7PM.
