Ticket Sales Running High For CFC Match With Chattanooga Red Wolves

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The CFC were founded in 2009.
The Chattanooga Red Wolves were founded in 2018.
Wednesday the local soccer giants will meet for the first time ever in the second round of the U-S Open Cup.
And fans can’t wait for the match-up.

It’s the match we’ve been praying for, and the demand has exceeded expectations according to the CFC’s manager of ticket sales Sam Click.
Said Click:”Once we announced the matchup, the initial response was so large in volume. I thought for sure it was unsustainable. It has been extremely consistent the enti

re time. Just getting more and more of a fever pitch as we go.”
In other words, expect a big, loud crowd at Fort Finley.
Said Click:”Looking at what we are tracking today. We are definitely looking at over 10-thousand filing into Fort Finley on Wednesday night. We’ve had them as far west as the Mississippi all the way into Texas to come in for this game. Yeah. There’s no doubt this is the game of the nation really on Wednesday night in the Open Cup.”
Given all the ticket configurations, Click has morphed into Ben Affleck’s character from the Accountant by writing on his office window.
Said Click:”Anytime you can get a game that sells itself a little bit, it’s a tremendous opportunity for all of us.”
And you may want to get their early.
Said Click:”Yeah we are going to open the gates 30 minutes earlier to help with the crowd size. Gates will open at 5:30 on match day. You have my stamp of approval to get off work a couple of hours early to get ready for the game and tailgate. Get down to the stadium and make sure you get in as soon as those gates open. That way you don’t have to deal with any backup.”
