Lookouts Drop Home Opener 6-3 to Birmingham

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Lookouts kicked off what is scheduled to be their final season at AT&T Field on Tuesday. Chattanooga took on Birmingham, and the Barons pulled away for a 6-3 victory. Lookouts got the first run of the game in the second inning. Ruben Ibarra doubled and later scored from third on a wild pitch to make it 1-0. Barons answered in the fourth when Oscar Colas singled home a pair of runs to make it 2-1. Birmingham picked up three runs in the inning. Barons went on to beat Chattanooga 6-3.

The Lookouts are scheduled to move into a new stadium in Chattanooga off South Broad Street to start the 2026 season.
