Volunteer Call: Join in the Public Art Project Painting A Mural

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Our Do the Right Thing Volunteer Call this week may be more of an opportunity than a service.

Public Art Chattanooga is giving everyone a chance to take part in the largest mural ever created for the city.

It is 40,000 square feet of art, that will hang on the side of the AT&T building on Martin Luther King Boulevard.

It will depict the stories and history of the MLK District.

The artist is muralist Meg Saligman.

She has created public murals all around the word, but this is her biggest project.

But she’s not doing it alone.

Public Art Chattanooga has created Public Paint Sessions, to get everyone involved in the creation process.

Here the latest opportunities for you to pick up a paint brush.
