Siskin Children’s Institute Launches Pediatric PT Program

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Siskin Children’s Institute is expanding its continuum of care with the launch of a new Pediatric Physical Therapy Program, now available at its Chattanooga location.

The program is designed to support children from infancy through adolescence, helping them build strength, improve mobility, and gain independence in a fun, encouraging environment.

It offers tailored therapy for children recovering from injury, managing motor delays, or living with chronic and neurological conditions.

“Families go through a lot to get children to our patient services—especially young children,” said Lisa Spurlock, Family Support Services Coordinator. “If they can go to one place instead of two, that’s a big driving factor as to why we’ve added physical therapy services back.”

The program is led by Neha Mehta, a licensed physical therapist with over 10 years of experience working with medically complex children.

Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassion, focusing on long-term progress and family-centered care.

“We’re here to help children reach their goals—whether it’s taking their first steps or improving strength and coordination for daily activities,” expressed Don Mueller, CEO of Siskin Children’s Institute.

Interpretation and translation services are also available for families with limited English proficiency to ensure inclusive, accessible care.
