Chattanooga Marine’s father shares his memories
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- Friends were posting about Staff Sgt. David Wyatt all day Thursday, remembering him.
He lived on Kings Ridge Drive and his career began in 2004.

Wyatt was originally from Russellville, Arkansas, and he did two tours of duty between October 2007 and April 2008 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was deployed again for parts of 2010 and 2011 for what the military called Operation Enduring Freedom, which relates to the years long campaign in Afghanistan.
According to CNN, Lorri Wyatt acknowledged her husband’s death in a post on Facebook with a picture of him with his arms around his two small children as they clutch American flags. Many of their friends made that image or a Marine Corps logo covered by a black ribbon their own profile picture, while others posted condolences and remembrances.
