Walker Valley Captures First Ever State Softball Title With 10-8 Win Over Green Hill

Murfreesboro, TN-(WDEF-TV) Walker Valley rallied to beat Green Hill 10-8 in eight innings to claim their first ever softball state title. The Mustangs scored two runs in their last at-bat to tie the game at seven and force extra innings. Then in the 8th, Walker Valley posted three runs, as they picked up the 10-8 victory. Vanessa Byers had 4 RBI’s on the day for Walker Valley.
