Bridgeport man arrested for displaying child sexual abuse material

JACKSON COUNTY, Al. (WDEF) —  A Bridgeport man has been arrested for displaying child sex abuse material.

On June 17, 2025, local and state authorities arrested Payton Dean Corbitt.

Corbit was booked into the Jackson County Jail on three counts of Dissemination or Public Display of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), this arrest was the result of an ongoing child exploitation investigation.

The investigation was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
