Lookouts Squander Six Run Lead and Fall to Pensacola 9-8

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Lookouts started the second half of the Southern League regular season with a gut-wrenching loss to Pensacola.

The Lookouts built an 8-2 lead after five innings, but they wound up losing 9-8 in 10 innings.

Jay Allen II hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning to give Chattanooga a 3-2 lead.

Lookouts then scored five times in the fifth, including a two RBI double from Austin Hendrick.

Ryan Ignoffo had a bases clearing double for Pensacola in the 8th inning to tie the game at 8.

Blue Wahoos then scored in the tenth for the one-run victory.
