Man indicted for reckless homicide months after wreck that killed 21-year-old

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A driver has been indicted for a fatal wreck that happened six months ago.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2024 on Highway 153, two weeks before Christmas.

An Isuzu box truck rear ended another truck carrying concrete blocks.

Two people in the Isuzu had to be extricated and transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

A 21-year-old man later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Isuzu, 32-year-old Dylan Pothen, was indicted by a Hamilton County Grand Jury in April of 2025.

Pothen was arrested July 3, 2025, and is facing one charge of reckless homicide.
