Local authorities cite two businesses for selling alcohol to minors

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Two businesses in the area have been cited by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) for allegedly selling alcohol to minors.
On Monday, July 7, 2025, HCSO deputies executed underage alcohol compliance checks around the county.
Out of the 18 stores they visited, the following were found to be selling alcohol to minors:
- Food Mart, 7921 Highway 60
- 7 Star Tobacco Mart, 7637 Middle Valley Road
HCSO says clerks at both establishments were cited to Sessions Court.
The business owners have also been referred to the Hamilton County Beer Board.
Their appearances are scheduled for September 2, 2025.
