Meigs County man arrested for murder

Meigs County, TN (WDEF) – Tennessee Bureau of Investigation authorities arrested 57-year-old Gary Wayne Ford for Second Degree Murder Tuesday.

The 9th District Attorney General Russell Johnson requested the TBI investigate the death of Coleen Francis Turner. 

Meigs County Sheriff’s Investigators found the body of the 51-year-old at a home on Lefew Road in Ten Mile on April 10th.

TBI agents and MCSO investigators gathered information leading to Ford being responsible for the murder.

The TBI got an indictment on Monday.

Officials arrested him Tuesday.
