Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Reveals He Has Suffered A Total Of Four Strokes: “This Last One, It Was A Big One”
During an interview with Eddie Trunk on Wednesday (September 24), Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil revealed that he has suffered a total of four strokes over the years. The most recent one in December 2024 was the most severe, forcing the band to delay their Las Vegas residency. “Two of ’em I didn’t even know I had,” Neil said of the earlier incidents, before revealing, “One of ’em was a mini stroke that happened, and I just lost feeling in my hand. And I got over that pretty quickly. But then this last one, it was a big one.” The latest stroke severely impacted Neil’s left side, requiring him to relearn how to walk after months of physical therapy. Despite doctors doubting he’d perform again, Neil worked hard to recover and returned to the stage this September. The Crüe’s residency, initially postponed from March due to Neil’s health, resumed at Dolby Live earlier this month, with additional shows scheduled on Sept. 26-27, and on Oct. 1 and 3.
