Dolly Parton Postpones Upcoming Las Vegas Residency Due To “Health Challenges”
On Sunday night (September 28), Dolly Parton announced on Instagram that she has to postpone her upcoming Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace due to undisclosed “health challenges.” The dates were originally scheduled to begin in December, marking Parton’s first extended Vegas residency since the early ’90s. The 79-year-old country music superstar has now rescheduled her six-show run for September 17, 19, 20, 23, 25, and 26, 2026. “As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” Parton revealed, while admitting that those medical issues will keep her from being able “to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see.” She went on to reassure fans that they shouldn’t “worry about me quitting the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.” Original tickets remain valid for the new dates, with refunds available, while further details will be communicated to ticket holders.
