Cardi B’s ‘Am I The Drama’ Debuts Atop Billboard 200 Chart, Her Second No. 1 Album Of Her Career

Cardi B claims her second No. 1 album of her career as her sophomore release, Am I The Drama?, debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart. Am I The Drama? earned 200,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week, marking 2025’s biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album by a woman, while serving as the long-awaited follow up to Cardi’s chart-topping, Grammy-winning debut album, 2018’s Invasion of Privacy. Also of note in this week’s Billboard 200 Top 10, Nine Inch Nails’ soundtrack for TRON: Ares debuts at No. 5, marking the industrial band’s first Top 10 since 2013’s Grammy-nominated Hesitation Marks debuted at No. 3. With the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack holding its place at No. 2 on this week’s chart, this marks the first time in more than six years that there are two soundtracks in the Top 5 simultaneously, dating back to 2019 when Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born was No. 3 and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody was No. 5.

The rest of this week’s Top 10 is rounded out by Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem remaining at No. 3, Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend staying at No. 4, Alex Warren’s You’ll Be Alright, Kid rising one spot to No. 6, SZA’s SOS climbing one slot to No. 7, Wallen’s One Thing at a Time moving up one place to No. 8, Justin Bieber’s SWAG falling three spots to No. 9, and Bad Bunny’s DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS jumping up three slots to No.10.
