Food City to have grand re-opening in Trenton, Ga.
TRENTON, Ga. (WDEF) — Food City is set to have a grand re-opening of their Trenton, Ga. location on October 8th, 2025.
Company officials are hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., celebrating the newly expanded and remodeled facility.
During the celebration, the store will have special pricing on select items.

The expansion introduces nearly 12,000 square foot of added retail space.
New amenities include a Starbucks cafe, a Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union branch, and a drive-thru window for the Food City Pharmacy.
The Food Service Department has been updated to include a slew of new services, including a fresh food bar, hickory wood smoker, fresh sushi, a fireplace, and internet service among others.
Service cases have also been added to the meat and seafood departments.
Curbside pickup, Door Dash, and home delivery are available for customers shopping online.
With this expansion, sixty new area jobs have been created.
