A Big Dill in Dalton

DALTON, GA. (WDEF) – The 2nd annual North Georgia Fried Pickle Festival was a big dill at the North Georgia Fairgrounds in Dalton, GA serving up two days of food, music, and family fun.

Day one brought in large crowds ready to shop from more than 200 vendors and sample food from over 30 booths featuring everything from fried favorites to sweet treats.

Live music filled the air while families enjoyed the petting zoo, inflatables, train rides, and the always-popular free human water wheel and hydrozone to stay cool as a cucumber.

Pickle lovers got a real rush during the pickle juice and pickle-eating contests, with entertainment and performances keeping the fun going all day.

And social media influencer The Pickled Guy stopped by to add a little extra dill-light to the festivities, meeting fans and celebrating all things pickle.

The festival wraps up Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Georgia Fairgrounds in Dalton
