Florida Inmate Discovered With Full-Size Thermos Inside Body During Jail Booking
A body scanner at a Florida county jail revealed 51-year-old Walter Frymire had a full-size thermos concealed inside his rectum during booking on drug and trespassing charges. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the thermos entered Frymire’s body a day earlier via “the exit ramp.” Frymire was arrested Saturday evening for trespassing on Amtrak property in Winter Haven, where police found “a glass pipe with a burned residue consistent with methamphetamine.” He reportedly admitted to using meth for 28 years. During transport to jail, Frymire allegedly threatened an officer, saying “If you arrest me, I will find you and kill you.” When told such threats were illegal, police say he replied, “Good, I’m going to kill you, so charge it.” The thermos was surgically removed at a local hospital. Frymire remains jailed on $12,000 bond facing two felony and two misdemeanor counts. (Story URL)
