People magazine has crowned English actor Jonathan Bailey as Sexiest Man Alive 2025. The 37-year-old star gained fame through Netflix’s Bridgerton as Lord Anthony and earned an Emmy nomination for Showtime’s Fellow Travelers. Carly Rae Jepsen is expecting her first child with husband Cole M.G.N., just weeks after their October 4th wedding. The “Call Me Maybe” singer shared black-and-white photos on social media showing her baby bump, captioning the post “Oh hi baby.” The couple married at NYC’s Chelsea Hotel in an intimate ceremony with 100 guests officiated by Jepsen’s aunt and uncle. Jon Stewart will remain on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show through December 2026. He will continue leading the show every Monday while also serving as executive producer. MGM+ greenlit a four-part true-crime docuseries titled The Hillside Strangler, examining the Los Angeles murders that shocked the city in the late 1970s. The series recounts how Kenneth Bianchi and his cousin Angelo Buono Jr. killed 12 women and girls before leaving their bodies across Los Angeles hillsides. Bianchi, still imprisoned, participates, while Buono died in 2002. (Story URL)
Netflix has acquired the live-action Eloise movie, with newcomer Mae Schenk starring as the spirited girl who lives at New York’s Plaza Hotel. Ryan Reynolds will co-star as an “original villainous character.” Amy Sherman-Palladino, known for Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, is directing and co-writing the film. Lionsgate has reached a major agreement with Millennium Media covering both the Rambo and The Expendables franchises. The deal grants Lionsgate rights to develop and produce new films, television projects, and other derivative works from The Expendables. AMC Networks has announced its holiday schedule, offering about 600 hours of Christmas programming from Nov. 29 through Dec. 26. Tony Award-winning actor Cole Escola will join One Piece season 3 as nonbinary assassin Bon Clay. The Oh, Mary! star and creator becomes the first major casting reveal for the upcoming season.
