Chattanooga’s Rising Track Star

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga has a rising star in youth track: Robert Todd IV. 

At just 9 years old, Robert is already making a name for himself with his speed, dedication, and competitive spirit.

Training with the Chatt Town Speed Track Club, Robert competes in sprints and middle-distance events, posting times that put him among the top runners nationally for his age. 

Many in the local track community say he is the fastest 9-year-old in Tennessee, a distinction that has people taking notice beyond the city.

Robert’s talent isn’t just about speed. 

Coaches praise his focus, work ethic, and sportsmanship, noting that he encourages younger athletes and inspires other kids to get involved in track and field.

While he’s already competing at high-level events, Robert keeps his eyes on improvement. 

His journey is just beginning, but his accomplishments so far show a combination of natural ability and dedication that promises a bright future in athletics.
