120-Pound Python Breaks Through Malaysian Family’s Bathroom Ceiling

Malaysia’s Civil Defense Force removed a massive python weighing over 120 pounds after it crashed through a family’s bathroom ceiling in Kedah. The incident began when 15-year-old resident noticed a hole in the ceiling and alerted her mother, Nor Hayati Muhammad Rajab. “I saw that the broken ceiling had a batik fabric inside. I wonder how a batik cloth can be on the ceiling. My kids then used a phone camera and zoomed in on the area, and we found the snake,” she said. Rescue workers used hooks and wire loops for nearly 30 seconds to coax the reptile from its hiding spot before it finally dropped to the floor. “It was so big that I screamed out loud. I have never seen such a big snake in front of my eyes,” Rajab told Newsflare. Officials relocated the python to a wilderness area away from residential homes. The homeowner believes the snake came from a nearby swamp. (Story URL)
