Dalton Police Department investigating shoplifting from local Walmart

DALTON, Ga. — The Dalton Police Department is seeking information about a man who shoplifted 2 gaming computers from Walmart on November 20, 2025.

The theft happened at the Shugart Road Walmart on November 20th.

Shortly before 7:00 a.m., a man entered the store and immediately went to the electronics department.

The man put 2 gaming computers into a cart and then took them away from any customers or employees.

Upon exiting the Walmart, the man did not stop for the attendant when asked about a receipt.

The two stolen computers are an iBUYPOWER SCA7R77XT01 Gaming Desktop, (AMD Ryzen 7 8700F, AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, 32GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe SSD) valued at $1,099 and a CyberPowerPC Gamer Master Gaming Desktop (AMD Ryzen 5 8400F, 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB, 1TB SSD, Black, GMA7300WST) valued at $799.00, according to the Dalton Police Department.

The suspect is a bald white male who wore dark rimmed eye glasses, a gray Nike t-shirt and gray shorts.

The suspect left the store in an oversized white box truck.
