From mechanized warfare to mechanized mealtime, can robots really do it all?

A robotic “chef” delivered an unconventional Thanksgiving feast to U.S. troops stationed overseas in South Korea. Soldiers tapped their orders into a digital kiosk, ordering hot-and-ready holiday meals featuring turkey, ham, and even vegetarian options.

Army officials explain that the robot prepares meals for servicemembers so human cooks can focus on tactical field duties.
