Cleveland Schools honor teachers and employees of the year

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Cleveland School System announces their best employees of the year.

The winners are picked by their fellow workers and teachers each year.

Here are this year’s winners:

Elementary Schools
Teacher of the Year:
Jordan Reeves, Ross Elementary
Novice Teacher of the Year:
Katie Swafford, Blythe-Bower Elementary

Cleveland Middle School
Teacher of the Year:
Candyce Bates
Novice Teacher of the Year:
Sydney Gobble
Classified Staff Member of the Year:
Jessica Harvey

Cleveland High School
Teacher of the Year:
Daniel Montgomery
Novice Teacher of the Year:
Clark Lockerby

Principal of the Year
Mrs. Kim Bradford, Stuart Elementary School

“Mrs. Bradford is known for her student centered leadership and her commitment to academic excellence. She fosters a warm, supportive school environment where students feel valued and teachers feel empowered. Under her leadership, Stuart Elementary continues to grow in both achievement and school culture.”

Supervisor of the Year
Mr. Randall Stephens, Supervisor of Career Technical Education

“Mr. Stephens has led significant growth in the district’s Career Technical Education programs. His vision and collaborative approach have expanded opportunities for students in automotive technology, health sciences, welding, aviation, and more. His work helps students build pathways to college, careers, and future success.”

The school system also notes that Cleveland High leader Bob Pritchard was honored over the weekend as a Tennessee finalist for Principal of the Year.

“This recognition reflects his strong leadership, his dedication to students, and the positive culture he continues to build at Cleveland High School.”
