You Christmas present mailing deadlines

(WDEF) – This is the weekend to buy if you plan to send a gift in the mail for Christmas.

The Postal Service says you need to mail it by next Wednesday to be sure of a Christmas delivery.

But if you pay for Priority Mail, you can wait until December 18th.

And Priority Mail Express Two gets you until December 20th.

But, of course, those dates are not guaranteed.

So the earlier, the better.

Other options are:

UPS Next Day December 23rd

FedEx Overnight December 23rd

FedEx SameDay December 24th

Amazon Prime cuts off orders on Dec. 22
