Highland Rivers Health’s statement on arrested employee

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Highland Rivers Health says it’s fully cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation of employee Patrick Nix.

Nix is charged with one count of sexual assault by an employee of a health care facility.

HRH officials say Nix is on unpaid administrative leave; pending termination.

That’s according to HRH policy.

Officials say the health and safety of the individuals is top priority.

Highland Rivers Health Spokesman Andy Derryberry said, “Highland Rivers Health takes these allegations very seriously and is fully cooperating with law enforcement in this matter.”
