Questions from the Benjamin Brewer Arrest Citation

Lexington, KY (WDEF) – Over the weekend, a task force arrested Benjamin Brewer in Lexington, Kentucky on warrants from our area charging him with vehicular homicide in the I-75 crash that killed 6 people.

But he also picked up some new charges, including drug trafficking and criminal mischief.

How did that happen?

Here is the arrest citation by the Lexington police officer who took him into custody.

"The listed suspect was wanted out of Tennessee. The suspect was observed with 3.0 grams of methamphetamine in his left cargo pocket along with half xanax bar. The suspect also had a large amount of money on his person. The suspect kicked out the passenger side rear window of a police vehicle."
