Camel Kicks Woman During Texas Church Christmas Show
A woman was injured when a camel kicked her during Champion Forest Baptist Church’s “Christmas Spectacular” performance in Houston. Video footage shows the camel walking down an aisle as part of a parade when it kicked out its hind leg, striking a woman seated in an aisle seat. Other spectators immediately assisted the injured woman while the show continued with another camel and additional participants. Church communications director Steven Miori said “an unexpected incident occurred when a camel used in the production struck a guest in the audience.” He added, “Champion Forest regrets that this happened. Our team responded immediately, and emergency services were engaged.” The church has remained in contact with the family and stopped walking animals within audience seating areas for remaining shows.
