Unsolved Murder Reaches 17 Year Anniversary

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office is reminding us of a murder that happened 17 years ago today and still has not been solved.

Michael Mullens was gunned down outside his machine shop in Flintstone, Georgia in 2008.

Authorities hope someone may remember details to help them solve the cold case.

Mullens had just arrived at the business in the morning when he was ambushed.

He was shot in the back of the head.

The Sheriff hopes someone may still have information that could help identify a suspect.
