Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office Warns of Phone Scam

The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office is the latest agency to warn about a phone scam going around now.

They say callers will tell you they have important legal matters to discuss.

They say there is a warrant out for your arrest so you need to pay a bond to avoid it.

Sheriff’s officials say they will never hit you up for payments over the phone.

Agencies across our area have reported similar scams for the last few months.
