Local Musician Super Bowl Spotlight

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga musician Nick Lutsko is stepping onto the national stage in a big way.

Known for his playful internet songs and viral videos, Lutsko is bringing his signature humor and catchy melodies to this year’s Manscaped Super Bowl commercial.

Not only did he write the melody, but he also voiced two characters in the ad, giving the spot a unique, fun twist that fans of his work will immediately recognize.

This isn’t Lutsko’s first time working on a Super Bowl commercial.

Seven years ago, he lent his talents to a local TVFCU Super Bowl ad, marking an early national exposure for the musician and songwriter.

Lutsko says this year he almost didn’t have the time to pull off the ad.

“You know when they first reached out and submitted I had just finished this Kickstarter campaign that was really successful but I just had a baby and was like really overwhelmed really busy and I almost said like right out the gate I don’t think I’m gonna have the time to do this, but then when I read the brief, it was one of the first times where as I was reading the temp lyrics the melody like literally the first time I’m reading at the Melody came to my head,” Lutsko recalled, giving readers a glimpse into how quickly his creativity struck when he first saw the project.

From local hits to viral internet songs to national Super Bowl screens, Lutsko’s humor and melody continue to reach millions.

Fans can expect to see his playful style in full force, and it’s a perfect reminder that local talent can make a huge national impact.

Keep an eye out for his ad this Sunday, it’s bound to be memorable.

For anyone who wants to hear the song on its own, it’s being uploaded to Spotify and other streaming platforms under the name “Hair Ballad” by Nick Lutsko, so listeners can enjoy it anytime.
