Probation Officer charged with sexual contact with probationer

MARYVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – A TBI investigation has led to charges against an East Tennessee probation officer for sexual abuse of a woman under his supervision.

42 year old James Glenn Dale worked for the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency in Blount County.

Investigators say he engaged in sexual contact with a female probationer.

He was indicted last week on charges of Official Misconduct, Official Oppression, and Sexual Contact with a Probationer.

Dale was arrested on Monday.
