Charlie Crockett cancels Canadian Tour after being turned away at the border

(WDEF) – Country singer Charley Crockett is cancelling his tour of Canada, but he says it doesn’t have anything to do with politics.

He posted that he tried to enter the country twice, but was turned away.

The problem seems to be a criminal record from the past that Crockett didn’t go into.

“Everybody’s got a past. Mine’s still haunting me.”

Canadian authorities said if he tried to cross again, he could end up in jail.

So the singer cancelled his ten day tour.

But he doesn’t harbor any bad feelings toward the country:
