Vols Big Orange Caravan Tour Returning to Chattanooga Area in April
(utsports.com) “Big Orange Caravan” presented by Pilot makes three stops across the state this spring with Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White, men’s basketball coach Rick Barnes, women’s basketball coach Kim Caldwell, head football coach Josh Heupel and “Voice of the Vols” Mike Keith.
A collaborative fan appreciation tour hosted by Tennessee Athletics and the UT Knoxville Office of Alumni Affairs, “Big Orange Caravan” will make trips to Chattanooga (April 28), Nashville (April 29) and the Tri-Cities (April 30). As mentioned last spring, Chattanooga and Memphis will alternate tour stops every year.
Tickets for each tour stop cost $30 (plus taxes and fees) and include light food options. As part of this cost, a total of $5 of every ticket sold will benefit the local UT Alumni chapter’s scholarship endowment, and $10 will benefit the My All Campaign.
Doors to each event open at 5 p.m. local time followed by a meet and greet with the headliners from 5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m. A cash bar, as well as light food and appetizers, will be available. Each program begins at 6:15 p.m. The UT Spirit Squads will be in attendance.
Hosted by Keith, the program will feature fun stories, insight and a Q & A with UT guests.
