CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — An off-duty Hamilton County deputy has been killed in a motorcycle crash, according to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD).

They say 26-year-old Caleb LeBruno died following a crash on the 3400 block of Brainerd Road on March 4, 2026.

CPD says preliminary findings show the motorcyclist lost control while negotiating a curve and struck a parked car.

Hamilton County EMS transported LeBruno to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

“Please join us in keeping Deputy Lebruno’s family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.”

– The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says.

LeBruno began his career as a Dispatcher for the Sequatchie County 911 Center.

The HCSO says in 2020, he joined the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy before transferring to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in 2022, where he served in Uniform Services.
