Whitfield Co. Fire responds to aerosol explosion burn victim

UPDATE: Whitfield County says at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19th, the Whitfield County Fire Department (WCFD) responded to Brickyard Road regarding a male with burn injuries caused
by an aerosol can explosion.

Whitfield 911 Dispatch was advised that the injuries occurred on Wednesday, March 18th, but the individual did not seek medical treatment until the following day.

He was treated at the scene by Hamilton EMS and WCFD personnel and was later transported to Erlanger for further care.

They say this was an isolated incident, and no additional injuries were reported.


Whitfield County Fire is responding to Brickyard Road in reference to a burn victim caused by an aerosol can explosion, they say on Facebook.
