3 Year Old Drowns in Whitfield County

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)-The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they are investigating the drowning of a 3-year-old.

The Whitfield County 911 Center received a call reporting a missing child around 1pm.

After going to the location the authorities met with the child’s father and then officers searched for Karina Anabelle Treat.

Around 3pm authorities found Treat’s body in a pool in the area.

An autopsy will be conducted. The investigation is still ongoing.
