Catoosa County man receives two life sentences for molesting 2-year-old

A Catoosa County man has been sentenced to 2 life sentences plus 49 years in prison after being convicted of molesting and sodomising a 2-year-old.
Nathaniel Lee Green, 35, was convicted on all 7 counts, including: Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Child Molestation, and Incest, according to the LMJC District Attorney’s Office.
They say the case originated from an unrelated investigation in Texas, where a man, Justin Guill, was arrested. Upon searching
Guill’s electronics, conversations between Guill and Green were located where Green admitted to molesting the two-year-old child in Georgia, and showed that the men were exchanging child pornography.
Thereafter, a sergeant went undercover online, posing as a child predator and contacted Green. In those conversations, Green described in detail the sexual acts he performed on the child and sent the sergeant images of child pornography, according to the LMJC District Attorney’s Office.
They say Green was then arrested in Georgia for sending child pornography to Texas and evidence was turned over to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office to further investigate the child sexual abuse that occurred in Georgia.
At trial, Assistant District Attorney David Wolfe presented evidence showing Green’s text messages to Guill and the sergeant.
In those messages Green describes, in detail, multiple acts of sodomy that he performed on the child. Green also made several references to wanting to kidnap a child and even stated,
“Man I’m at Dave and Busters and all these kids walking around are sooooo tempting.”
Green’s wife testified that several years prior, while having sex with Green, Green told her that he wanted to adopt a child to join them in the bedroom, according to the LMJC District Attorney’s Office.
Additionally, the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner testified that upon examining the young child, she discovered a tear to the child that was consistent with sexual abuse.
After a two-day trial, the jury found Nathaniel Green guilty of all 7 counts of sexually related crimes against the child.
Green was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus an additional 49 consecutive years to be served in prison with 1 year of sex offender probation thereafter, the LMJC District Attorney’s Office says.
