Atlanta area woman charged in Bradley County fraud scheme
BRADLEY COUNTY — An Atlanta area woman has been charged after a Bradley County resident became the subject of fraud.
According to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, on April 3, 2026, a Bradley County resident reported a fraud scheme after being contacted by individuals posing as bank representatives and a federal agent who claimed her accounts were compromised.
They say the suspects instructed the victim to withdraw cash to “secure” her funds.
After she complied and turned over money at her residence, she realized it was a scam and contacted the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
When the suspects attempted a second pickup, detectives coordinated with the victim.
On April 7, 2026, detectives were on scene when a gray Tesla arrived.
The driver, identified as Tiffany Campbell of the Atlanta area, was taken into custody after investigators determined she had attempted to conceal evidence related to the pickup, the BCSO says.
Campbell was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Theft over $10,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
