Vols Will Face a Super Fast Offense in Bowling Green
The Vols defense may need to load up on the oxygen tank Saturday against Bowling Green.
Last year, the Falcons averaged 18-point-6 seconds per play, which was the third fastest offense in the country.
Said Vols defensive back Brian Randolph,"The biggest thing I can compare it to is Oregon a couple of years ago. Very fast. They’re going to try to get you tired, so you’ve got to be ready for the tempo."

Said linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin,"Yeah, it’s hard to duplicate it, but we’ve worked on it in practice a lot. Just preparing for the tempo. As long as our communication is good, we’ll be fine."
Added head coach Butch Jones,"Where a team like Bowling Green challenges you, is they don’t change personnel. So a lot of times, you’re going to be forced to keep that same defense on the field."
