Chattanooga airport to dissolve board, passed bill says
One of the last minute bills passed by Tennessee lawmakers this week will require the Chattanooga airport to dissolve their board.
State lawmakers changed how the board will be set up.
The state leadership will now pick who is on the board instead of local leaders.
House Speaker Cameron Sexton says they made the change to protect their investments.
He says the state funds most regional airports instead of local government.
The General Assembly concluded on Thursday for the year.
