Possible threat prompts law enforcement response at Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — An investigation is underway following a call reporting a threat at Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts on May 11, 2026.
A call to the Hamilton County 911 Communications District reporting an active threat at Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts prompted a large-scale law enforcement response, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says.
They say the school’s assigned HCSO school resource deputy assessed the situation and determined there was no credible threat.
The origin of the call is being investigated by the HCSO Criminal Investigations Unit.
This is one of multiple reports of potential threats across Tennessee Schools.
