Quotable
“I thought the guys did a good job today. We gave a couple of shots away and were a little sloppy at points, but overall, it was really solid. All five guys were in it for the majority of the round. Cam went bogey free in this wind? That’s solid plus our two freshmen shot even in their first regional. We a saw a lot of good things today.” – Coach Blaine Woodruff on today’s round
“Those first waves kind of got no wind, so I think we’re the only one in the afternoon to play ourselves into the top six spots That gets us going off first, so really proud of our group. This is a long tournament. We got a lot of golf left and nothing really changes for us.” – Woodruff on the conditions and moving forward
