HCSO Criminal Investigations Unit Detective receives Respect for Law Officer of the Year Award

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) along with the Scenic Chattanooga Optimist Club have announced that Criminal Investigations Unit Detective Karigan Scoggins will receive “Respect for Law Officer of the Year Award.”

They say Detective Scoggins has served the HCSO since 2019.

She began her career as a patrol deputy before advancing to detective rank in 2023.
