Chamber Celebrates Small Business Leaders

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Small business leaders were recognized Thursday in Cleveland as the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual luncheon at the Museum & Cultural Center at 5ive Points.

The event featured economist Dr. Howard Wall as keynote speaker, who took questions and spoke about tariffs as well as the local economy.

The focus of the afternoon, however, was the presentation of the Mel Bedwell Small Business Person of the Year Award.

This year’s honor went to Chris Beckstrand and Robert Cuthbertson, who were recognized for their leadership, service, and impact in the local business community.

The Chamber says the award is designed to highlight small businesses that demonstrate innovation and a long-term commitment to regional growth.

The luncheon marks the Chamber’s 33rd year recognizing small business leadership in Bradley County.
